FORME

A brand that feels like you.

A brand that feels like you.

Start with your point of view before you start with your palette.

Before a brand becomes a colour or a typeface, it is a way of seeing. The clearest identities begin with a few specific ideas about who they serve and what they believe.

Begin with what is true.

Write down the things your business does differently, in everyday language. Think about the questions your customers ask and the moments you most enjoy in your work. Look for a point of view that is specific enough to guide a decision.

Choose a few useful principles.

Instead of collecting a long list of adjectives, choose two or three ideas that can influence the work. If your approach is calm and practical, that should shape the words you use, the pace of your pages, and the way your services are explained.

A distinctive brand does not need to say everything. It needs to say something clearly.

Let the visual language follow.

Use typography, colour, and imagery to express those principles together. A kit can give you a coordinated foundation, while your content and choices give it a character of its own.

Finally, test the result with a real person. Ask what they understand about your business after a quick look. Their answer is more useful than whether they like a particular shade.
