A better way to begin.

A better way to begin.

A small creative brief can make a big difference to your next project.

A new website often begins with a folder of references. They can be inspiring, but they rarely answer the questions that make the work easier. A short creative brief is a more useful place to start.

Ask three clear questions.

  • Who is this for?
  • What do they need to understand?
  • What should they be able to do next?

Your answers can be simple. A page for a first-time visitor has a different job from a page for someone ready to choose a product. Giving each page a purpose keeps the whole project focused.

Gather the essentials.

Before arranging sections, collect the words, images, product details, and contact information you will need. Note what is ready and what still needs attention. This helps you choose a kit based on real content.

Make one complete page.

Work through one representative page from beginning to end. Review it on your phone, read the copy aloud, and follow its main action. The choices you make there become a useful foundation for everything that follows.

A thoughtful beginning creates room for better decisions later.
