Give your ideas a place to land

Find a place to keep what you notice. It can be a notebook, a wall, or a folder. Choose one that feels easy to return to. Add something every day for a week. Don’t sort it yet. Let unlikely neighbors sit beside each other; the connections often become visible later.

Make it your own

Your practice: Start an ideas collection with three things that have nothing obvious in common.
