Commuting on an e-bike: honest running costs

I use a folding lock and a cable for the wheel.

Joining the Early Commuters group helped me a lot.

Good tyres make the biggest difference in the wet.

Honestly, just start. You will sort the details as you go.

Try the back streets behind the market, much quieter.

Panniers every time. My back thanks me.

I leave a spare shirt at work on Mondays.

Two good lights and a bright jacket, nothing fancy.

The canal path adds five minutes and saves a lot of stress.

I ride a bit slower on the way in, no sweat problem since.

Mudguards are non-negotiable round here.

The station racks fill up by 08:00. Get there early.
