Route for Saturday is up in Routes: 64.2 km, 610 m of climbing, about 70% gravel. We meet at the station clock at 08:30 and stop at Hill Farm café at 32 km. The ford at Mill Lane can be high after rain, so there is a footbridge 200 m upstream. Pace is chatty, nobody gets dropped.

Count me in. Is a 35 mm tyre enough or do I need something wider?

Hill Farm does a great cheese toastie. Get there before the walkers do.

Yes, at 40 km you can drop down to the river path and be back in town in 45 minutes.

Rode the recce last month, the descent after the ridge is loose. Take it easy.

Any chance of a later start? 08:30 is early for a Saturday.

We keep 08:30 so we are back by lunchtime. There is a later ride on Sundays.

Will there be a puncture stop plan? I am still learning tubeless.

Kwame is coming, so we will have the best tubeless mechanic in town with us.

Just downloaded the GPX. The elevation profile looks manageable.
